La compagnie aérienne berlinoise Germania ajoute le nord de Rovaniemi, en Finlande, à ses liaisons au départ de Berlin-Schönefeld. La destination sera proposée deux fois par semaine, les mercredis et dimanches. La durée du vol totalise deux heures et quarante minutes. La route est desservie par un Boeing 737-700.
Cet hiver, Germania propose désormais six destinations au départ de Schönefeld : Beyrouth, Hurghada, Rovaniemi, Tenerife, Téhéran et Paphos. D'autres destinations sont à suivre. En mai 2017, l'île grecque de Kos sera ajoutée au programme de vols. Les destinations ensoleillées de Charm el-Cheikh, Fuerteventura et Gran Canaria s'ajouteront en octobre 2017.
Rovaniemi – près du cercle polaire arctique

Also worth a visit is Arktikum – a museum that retells the history of the indigenous people of Lapland, the Sami, all the way from the Stone Age to today.
